TMA Environmental Consultants (TMA) provided specialist arboricultural consultancy to support works within Finsbury Circus Gardens, one of London’s oldest public parks located in the heart of the City of London. The project required careful coordination to protect the historic tree population while enabling landscape improvements and infrastructure works within this highly valued urban green space.​​

BS5837:2012 Trees in Relation to Design, Demolition and Construction – Recommendations
Recording and categorising individual trees, groups of trees and woodlands (with details provided for shrub masses, hedges, hedgerows)
Plot individual trees, groups of trees, and woodlands
Identify individual trees, groups of trees, and woodlands….the design and layout of a development.
Where there are impacts or conflict with trees, BS5837 recommends an Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA), Arboricultural Method Statement (AMS) and Tree Protection Plans be prepared to show how the impacts can be managed on site.
