Garden Design by Chartered Landscape Architects
Our team of experts create carefully considered garden designs that maximise green potential, enhance biodiversity, and transform outdoor spaces into bespoke sanctuaries.

As a Landscape Institute–registered practice, we bring extensive professional expertise to every stage of the process. From concept to construction, our designs confidently balance bold creative ambition with planning requirements, technical constraints, and long-term performance. We specialise in gardens that are not only visually striking, but ecologically intelligent and meticulously resolved.

Our work is defined by clarity of vision, strong spatial composition, and planting schemes that evolve beautifully over time. Whether shaping intimate urban gardens or expansive private landscapes, we design spaces that feel personal and considered.

TMA brings together design expertise and horticultural knowledge to support clients in creating resilient gardens that enhance and support the natural environment.

This country cottage garden design was developed through pollinator-friendly plants, combining softness and structure, which gives seasonal interest with ecological value. A gravel driveway introduces subtle formality, framed by native hedging and a drought-tolerant gravel garden.
Carefully selected specimen trees provide structure and seasonal interest. The trees were carefully chosen to mature gracefully over time without overwhelming the scale of the garden.

TMA Environmental supported a family's new build project in the Epping Forest District Council area to gain planning permission.
Working closely with the client, TMA helped shape her vision of elegant planting borders framing a linear water feature, subtly guiding the eye through the garden to the expansive landscape beyond.
