Chartered Landscape Specialists in Biodiversity Net Gain and Nature‑Led Design
As a Registered Landscape Practice, we believe every project is an opportunity to benefit both people and nature. With a special interest in Biodiversity Net Gain, we design landscapes that are biodiverse, resilient, and sustainable, enhancing local ecology while creating meaningful places for people through considered design.

Our approach is collaborative and landscape-led, placing equal emphasis on client needs, design quality, and wider project objectives. By working closely with the wider design team, we deliver well-integrated, practical solutions that add value.

Our landscape services

Landscape Planning
Through a mixture of desk studies and site visits TMA can identify the effects of new developments on views and the landscape setting, creating practical and measured guidance on potential impacts and mitigation measures.

Biodiverity Net Gain
Our landscape architects are embedded within a multi-disciplinary consultancy, giving them a deep, practical understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain. Through close collaboration with ecologists, both in-house and external, they deliver thoughtful, policy-led designs that respond effectively to BNG requirements. The result is a coordinated, best-practice approach that supports both planning success and environmental outcomes.

Construction Detailing
TMA delivers detailed technical landscape designs, including construction drawings, setting-out and levels information, NBS specifications, planting, and BIM-compliant outputs where required. We support projects through tender, construction, and completion, ensuring coordinated, buildable, and high-quality landscape delivery.

Masterplanning
We focus on the big picture, taking time to understand a site’s character, setting, and environmental and social use. This allows us to create lasting spaces that build a strong sense of place and positively enhance communities. We explore constraints and opportunities to develop landscape-led strategies that are practical, meaningful, and sustainable.

Planting Plans
Our planting plans are rooted in a deep understanding of ecology, horticulture, and place. We select site-appropriate species that support local wildlife, perform well over time, and align with realistic maintenance requirements. By combining thoughtful plant selection with strong spatial composition, we create dynamic landscapes that offer beauty, function, and year-round interest.

Landscape Design
From early concept stages, we collaborate closely with the design team to shape thoughtful, site-responsive solutions that connect the built and natural environment, meet client needs, and respond to planning requirements.

Detailed Design
As Chartered Landscape Architects, we prepare detailed hard and soft landscape designs that meet the requirements for discharging planning conditions, or, where appropriate, are sufficiently resolved at application stage to avoid the requirement of conditions.

Management Plans
We are experienced in producing Landscape Management Plans, Landscape and Ecology Management Plans (LEMPs), Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMPs), and operational manuals.
Our Landscape Projects
Integrated BIM & GIS Solutions for Landscape
We remain aligned with current industry standards through the use of appropriate BIM software and GIS systems.
